There's a specific kind of trust problem every AI-for-business product has: the seller usually hasn't used their own product the way a customer would have to. We didn't want to be in that position, so before Sinan AI touched anyone else's Shopify store, we pointed it at our own.
ICE ERA Activewear is a real, live storefront. Not a staging environment, not a demo account with placeholder data -- an actual Shopify store that Sinan AI set up and continues to manage.
What "manages" means in practice
- Product catalog -- listings, descriptions, images, organized into collections
- Storefront theme -- the actual look and structure of the site
- Pricing and inventory -- kept current without someone manually editing every listing
- Customer-facing chat -- the same conversational qualification and escalation logic described in our last post, running on real visitor questions
None of this runs through a separate, simplified "internal" version of Sinan AI. It's the identical write-access tool set a paying customer's business would use, gated behind the same approval checkpoints for anything higher-impact -- a price change or a newly published page still gets a human glance before it goes live, exactly as it would for a customer.
Why we'd rather do this than show you a slide
If something in Sinan AI's Shopify integration breaks, is confusing, or produces a bad result, we find out on our own store first -- not from a support ticket. That changes the order operations get fixed in, and it means every claim we make about what Sinan AI can do on Shopify is something we've watched happen, not something we're hoping is true.
We're not publishing revenue numbers from ICE ERA yet. The store is still early, and we'd rather wait until there's a real, defensible number to share than round one up for a blog post. When there is one, it'll be here.
