Once a parcel leaves your shop, it's out of your hands, but your customer's questions keep coming. They want to know where their order is. Until now, Sinan could tell them about the order itself, but the parcel's journey after it left you was out of its reach. You or someone on your team had to find the tracking link and send it.
That changes with this update. You can now save which carrier or shipping tool your shop uses, and Sinan uses that to give your customers tracking links for their orders.
What changed
There's now a place to record your carrier or shipping tool. You save it once, and Sinan knows how your parcels travel. When a customer asks about a shipped order, Sinan can answer with a tracking link instead of telling them it will check with the owner.
This works wherever Sinan already talks to your customers:
- the chat on your shop's website,
- WhatsApp,
- your chat page.
For your customer, the conversation ends with something they can use: a link they can open and check again whenever they like. For you, that's one less message to answer by hand.
One setting per business
Some owners run more than one business. Maybe a second brand, or a second shop that ships differently. That's why the carrier or shipping tool is saved separately for each business. If one shop uses one carrier and another uses a shipping tool, each one keeps its own setting. Sinan uses the right one for the right shop, and a customer of one business never gets a link meant for the other.
What isn't done yet
We want to be clear about where this stands today.
Saving your carrier or shipping tool lets Sinan share tracking links. It is not automatically a live connection to your shipping tool. Whether Sinan can sync with your shipping tool live depends on how that tool is set up on your side. Every shop's setup is different, so we won't promise something here that might not fit yours.
Instead, we go through it with you during setup. We look at the carrier or tool you use, how you work with it today, and what's possible from there. You'll know exactly what Sinan can do for your shop before you rely on it.
What this doesn't change
Sharing a tracking link is information. It tells your customer something true about their order, and it can't hurt anyone. That's the kind of work Sinan does on its own.
Everything that can't be undone still works the way it always has. If a customer reads their tracking link and asks for a refund or wants to cancel, Sinan doesn't decide. Refunds, cancellations and anything like them wait for your tap. A tracking link might start a conversation, but you still make the decisions.
One more thing, so nobody is confused: Sinan HQ doesn't ship anything. We hold no stock and have no warehouse. Your parcels go out the way they always have, with your carrier or your shipping tool. This update means Sinan knows which one that is, so it can point your customer to the right place.
Why we built it
We build Sinan for owner-run shops of 1 to 20 people, where the owner is often the whole company in the evenings and on weekends. Customers write at any hour and expect an answer in minutes. Some of those messages need you. Many don't, and a request for a tracking link is a clear example: the answer already exists, and someone just has to send it.
The more of those messages Sinan can answer with something concrete, the more of your time goes to the questions only you can answer.
How to start
If you're already working with us, save your carrier or shipping tool for each of your businesses, and Sinan will start using it for tracking links. If you'd like to know whether a live sync is possible with your shipping tool, ask us and we'll look at it together.
If you're just starting, we'll cover it during setup, along with everything else Sinan needs to know about how your shop works.
